program would not install, I was asked by Norton's security to run virus scan.....did so and it picked up a spyware and said it should be removed......any suggestions on installation?

Smart Type Assistant when installing registration failed. Getting Activation module failed to connect to Giveawayoftheday.com

Any one else having this problem.
