I have to thank you guys for posting these links. I tried to download a game and all I got a message thanking me for downloading the game and now it was ready to play. I went to RealArcade to find out what was up. It turns out that not only do I have an account but that account contains 20 or so links to various games that I had purchased in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and had forgotten about. Now I have a bunch of "new" games to play and I have you guys to thank for reviving this post and adding new links.

I just got the wordslinger(had it through gamehouse a while ago and got rid of it(don't ask me WHY I do these things..lol!)
So I am happy happy happy!!!

How does everyone find all these free games? I've been searching for free full version pc games, but when you download most of them, they're only for a trial period. I don't mean the ones here on Real Arcade, but on other sites.

SusanIAm, thank you for the second link to the Sudoku game. Unfortunately it fails at the same point, which is just before it downloads the game to install it. Fortunately I can live without it!

I do have an account with realarcade..because I have road runner cable connection, I get ra gamepass for only $4.95 @ month..not a bad deal.

When do you get the error? If it is the activation, try IE or wait for the email and download from your My Account page. If it is the download itself, I rechecked and it worked, so I don't know what the problem could be.

Thanks for the links. There are some games there I hadn't got.
I can't get the Sudoku game - it tells me part way through that there is a network error. I don't think it is my system as it only happens with that one game.

Just found someone posting free online games at another website.They claim that parade just launched its online games and downloadable games. I haven't checked to see if games from parade have been posted here. I guess its always good to repost anyway.

The above freebies make it worth my while re-downloading all my old real arcade games again. I subscribed about three years ago, but let my account lapse after around a year. I've never bothered re-downloading all the games I bought after I did a format, partly because a couple were given away on the giveaway project when it first started ad I re-bought a couple from the developers rather than distributors like Real Arcade as they tend to be standalone games that don't need online activation and they also don't require a games manager.

So!.... this is an ideal opportunity to continue.

You likely have your purchase preference set to use credit, you should contact them.
I don't know for sure if that is the problem tho, as I don't have the membership.

I went to get rainforest adventure and it used my credit, I'll try next week when I use my last credit and see.

Thanks for the update. I had all but two of them - now I have all of them.

I used to have a subscription with RA but cancelled it several months ago. Big fish is less expensive and has more of a selection.
