neat game. Make sure you save often as there is no autosave, and no continue when you die!

On the white chamber I've found the card and key, and was able to use the key, but then I can't figure out the color sequence to unlock the clone control... I'll get there!
Went to their forum but got message it's closed down for a couple of days! LOL

Hi Chip,

I have another brilliant 'award winning' point and click adventure in a few weeks that should definitely play on your system as it was originally released when 486's ruled the roost. Though despite it's 8 bit graphics the graphics are actually quite beautiful, in a apocalyptic sort of way. I don't want to say any more in case I give away what the game is called, lol.

Sounds like a neat puzzle game that you get to control. I'm want to try this out however I am worried it may not work on my machine but we'll see. I know there's a game like this you can play free on the internet but I forget it's name. Your stuck in some hotel room and you have to use the clues around you to figure out how to escape it.

The White Chamber: (358Mb)

For those who find this file too large to download due to limits or dial up limitations; I’ll be posting download links for several games; ranging from 1Mb to 15Mb tomorrow. The following quote from the download page should tell you everything you need to know about the game. I suggest that if anyone gets stuck anywhere along the journey this game takes you on you use this thread to post details of where you are stuck so that others who play the game may be able to give you help, or at least hints as to how to figure out the puzzle. :) There was an audio drama made as a prequel to today’s game. If you wish to have the scene set before you start playing the game you can find the download link to the prequel at the end of the post.

The Grey Tower – prequel video story to the White Chamber:

The grey tower is a 19 minute audio drama produced by Studio Trophis to act as a prequel to the white chamber. Set a few months before the chilling incidents of the white chamber, this is the dark tale of a marine on an ill fated survey mission in deep space. Told through 25 personal voice logs, this adventure gives insight into the back story of the white chamber and hints at a greater tragedy yet to be told.

I know it's only a couple of weeks ago since I last posted a point and click story (Penumbra), but that wasn't strictly part of the free weekday games project. There seems to be quite a lot of abandoned point and click adventures. You don't see many of them released today; though technically you could say the Hidden Object games came out of the genre. (We were given one on the game giveaway project several months ago called East Side Story).
