Thanks hotdoge3 for directing me to the link for the game. And also, thank you whiterabbit for showing me Dos Box. And i also want to thank you for all of your great reviews on software and your freeware game project. You are a valued member to the GAOTD team and I have used your revies many times to decide whether the day's software was for me or not. So I'm glad I can play Tank Wars now on my winxp machine (even though for some reason it runs really fast). The only thing I hate about Dos Box is the fact that you have to mount the drive with the game on it each time you play the game but it's not really a big deal. My only other question would be, where can I find more free old ms-dos games because I hate having dos-box for just one game. I think you'll find using that it will work. On the wikipedia page for it which you provided I found a link to download the original game at the bottom of the page. It is the original game files and they don't work on a windows xp machine. So my question was, Has anyone ported it over so it's a standard windows application but is still the original game and not a remake of it? I understand this may be impossible but I was just wondering.
