Happy to say I've installed Drive Magician and used it. I've also been back into the programme and checked the Registration details, which tell me "this has been registered" (Phew).

It actually seemed a nice easy programme to use and, following the advice given earlier, have saved the backup as a self extracting exe and saved it on a separate drive. Hope I've covered my back nicely. All that remains is to hope I never have to use it!!

You have to run the activation first the the other. I that isn't working, then your fiewall is probably blocking it.

reading the readme.txt file might work....

I must be missing something...I downloaded the give away of the day a few moments ago (Driver Magician V3.32). I ran the program and this message pops up:
"This is an evaluation copy of Driver Magician, you can try it for only fifteen days. After that trial period, you should either uninstall it or purchase it, which will cost you $29.95 per license. Please click the BuyNow button to get more details.

Trial time: From 10-2-2008 to 10-17-2008"

What do I need to do to register for free?
