Hi again Sergio,

Providing you are not using Vista, this freeware could fit the bill : http://www.alleycode.com/

Find details here : http://www.alleycode.com/features.htm

The synchro view is different

The screenshots page does not work unfortunately. Don't mind the paying offers on the site, the program is really free !

There is also Komposer based on Netscape composer and NVU (open source)

I checked their page and it does not advise against Vista.

Here is the link : http://www.kompozer.net/

Hi Sergio,

PageBreeze is a nice freeware visual (WYSIWYG) HTML editor. It's only free for personal and non-profit users, but it's only $29.95 to purchase it. I've played around with it and was able to build some very nice pages without really knowing any HTML and I was able to import some nice CSS templates into it to personalize. The pages I built never made it any further than my hard drive or I'd link you to them. LOL Check it out if you are looking for something easy with professional looking results.

I used the coffecup editors back when they were freeware, and looking at the options offered, they are very good editors for the price. They do offer WYSIWIG capabilities as well as direct coding. A trial version is available to check out

http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/

Another I like, and really it's just because I was a fan of their concept back in the mid 90s is arachnophilia. It is purely a code editor with no WYSIWIG properties, but includes a decent script library and organization.

http://www.arachnoid.com/arachnophilia/

Microsoft also offers many of their development tools for free to people using them for personal use (ie creating a non commercial website). Although the WYSIWYG portions tend to be IE specific, the code auto-completion tends to be very good, and the formatting is nice.
