My post is in reply to the topic thread heading "Daily Giveaways" and I just wanted to say that GOTD are doing a super job. There are quite a few things that I've downloaded and am enjoying using which, without GOTD, I just wouldn't have been able to. Yes, I know the manufacturers hope that some of us like the product enough to buy, but there is no way could I afford to buy all the lovely proggies that I've been fortunate enough to try out totally free. I don't usually download games because this used to be my son's PC, and it has literally thousands of games from the Atari and Commodore 64 to the most recent when he used this PC--He likes fighter games, actually almost all games, we both like RPG's and my preferred type is word or puzzle games. These are not part of the game giveaway project; just freeware and abandonware games I've search out for people to try. I started to do this to try and fill the vopid that has been left since the game giveaway stopped during the week.
