Thanks for the feedback, folks. Right now, I have Norton SystemWorks 2002 running. I just realized, I reckon yesterday, it doesn't come with a firewall, so both of my computers are being 'protected' by the Windows firewall - as Alf would say "HAH HAH!!".

Say Lee, you told us about the PC Tools product - have you tried it, or you just heard about it, and passed the news along for any interested takers? If you've tried it, what's your take on it?

I'm afraid I've gotten some things from PC Tools in the past that totally messed up my machine until I removed them, so I'm a bit paranoid about getting some of their things.

If you want your PC to grind to a halt - then this is very useful software I found. Unfortunately I prefer my machine to run smoothly so had to get rid. I think there is a reason it's free, it's not worth paying for.

Just wondering - I've never tried PC Tools Internet Security; is it a top notch security software program? How does it compare with, say, McAfee and Norton's similar security programs? Oh, btw, thanks for sharing this info with us, Lee. :D

The people at PC Tools must be mad! Just yesterday I shared with you a way to obtain free PC Tools Privacy Guardian license and today I found another way to get a free 1 year genuine license for PC Tools Internet Security 2009. They are just giving away whatever they have before Symantec starts to own them. However, I believe that they are in the right track of promoting their products. If they didn’t do this, they wouldn’t be so popular today and on the way of selling the company to Symantec.
