ha- trust me, only the level of difficulty has gone down. even film photos could be manipulated with common equipment. image stacking draws it's name from the film process used in both scene bracketing to get better detail- and compositing to manipulate what was there. look it up, been done for decades.

I agree Copmom......it's scary. Pretty soon we'll have no way of knowing what's real and what isn't. Also scary are the cameras that pop up every where you go.....hubby and I were just discussing yesterday how your picture is being taken so many times that you don't even know about....and people can just change them or do "whatever" and post them wherever they want. Yep......scary!

That's getting downright scarey! It's almost as bad as getting a phone call, you respond to whomever's talking, they keep on talking.. it's a recording!

Advances are made practically everyday in the field of realistic video animation. It’s rapidly approaching the point where only the very discerning will be able to know the difference between what is real and what isn’t. A major obstacle has always been recreating a life-like interactive human face. It seems recreating the nuisances of facial expressions have been the culprit. Judging by the popularity of image related programs nominated by GAOTD, I thought some would find this clip interesting. Be afraid people, be very afraid! The next time you use those drive-in banking services, the teller just might not be real.
