I got the same message and decided to install anyway. The program worked fine. I did miss some codecs and needed to get them before everything worked fine, but then it did work fine. The results are beautiful.

Hi VJ,
First off, I have not used this software, and I have not heard of ByteScout Software before.
Myself I would be a little concerned installing this program, with the Windows message, they are telling you that if you install this software, Windows is not responsible if anything happens to your system, and by downloading it here, ByteScout Software is offering no free technical support on this product, and that could get exspensive if something dose happen.
If I were you, I would research this product befor installing it, see what other people have to say about it , check out the web site, maybe even contact them or see if thay have a fact page on their web site.
If you do decide to install it, my advise would be, create a System Restore point, do a Registery back up, and back up your important files on a CD, the ones that are irreplaceable (pics, music, etc), something you should do once and a while anyway.
All in all the program probably is okay, but you will be taking a chance with it.
Good Luck,
Barry

During installation of PPT to Video the following message is displayed:

"The software you are installing for this hardware:
Sound, video and game controllers
has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP.
Continuing your installation of this software may impair or destabilize the correct operation of your system either immediately or in the future. Microsoft strongly recommends that you stop this installation now and contact the hardware vendor for software that has passed Windows Logo testing.
Do you want to continue installing the software for this hardware?

Continue Anyway
STOP Installation "

Why is this message generated if the product is WinXP compatible, and do I need to be concerned? Has anyone experienced any problems from installing this software and ignoring the warning message?

Thanks, VJ
