Hi,
I did not mean to start a topic on FireFox good or bad, I was tryig to show that if a person is not getting a full download, or one that dose not work, on one browser, try using another one to download on, it worked for me that day.
Since we are talking browsers though, I switched to FireFox a few years ago when IE4, 5 or 6 was not that secure. I was getting all kinds of crap ie: (popups, toolbars, hijacks, etc.) on my computer from the Net using IE, so I started using FireFox, and it really did make a differance. Now that I am using better Anti Virus and Malware programs, a better Firewall, a Host file and proper settings for my browsers and System Services, I have been able to keep my system fairly clean. It is all a learning experience, and I am not done yet.
I must say that IE7 is far superior to the previous versions, and I find myself using it more all the time, I think it boils down to personal preferances, and what you feel most comfortable with.
HUMMM!!, I wonder where IE7 came up with the idea of tabbed browsing anyway??LOL
Have a great day,
Barry

"Well I gave up on FireFox. It is way too buggy, filled with memory leaks, and nothing but problems and slow. Why people tell others who don't know what they are doing to switch to it should be sued for harming people IMHO."

LOL - Very witty, you should be on stage.

Firefox [FREE] is far superior to IE, and Maxthon which is based on IE.

You can use firetune v1.14 to boost ff.

I prefer ie 7 myself, use a dl manager to download on ethernet, not for resume as you can see I have a fast coinnection, 8mb, just to keep a record of where I dl it from.

Why people tell others who don't know what they are doing to switch to it should be sued for harming people IMHO. I use Maxthon (free), just as lots of gurus and computer experts use.

Hi,
I downloaded ArcaMania twice yesterday using FireFox, a browser I use 95% of the time, both times, WinRar and the Widows Zipped program, said the files were corrupted. I noticed that the readme.txt file was not included with the either download. I then tryed downloading the program using Internet Explorer, the readme.txt file was in the package and the instillation proceded with no problem.
If people are having problems with the download try using a different browser.
By the way I downloaded todays game, Crusaders Of Space, with FireFox, and had no problem at all or with any software I have downloaded previously from here.
Great site, keep up the good work.
Good day,
Barry
