The main thing (unlike AVG) is I prefer being able to use them to check my machine when I please. AVG took over my emails, etc., with no option to NOT run on startup, etc. I don't want any of them to run on startup.. they might conflict with my Anti Virus and Firewall, so I turn them on when I want to.
