Hi

I'll third that Lee!!
Anyway, almost all security apps worth anything are valid for 1 year.
As is your firewall, AV, etc
It was clearly stated from the beginning!

Like DUH!!!
I don't understand this, each time we have an offer for a 1 year licence, there is always someone complaining its not for life.

We save enough w all the great apps/games we get here, can't you just buy it?
If you liked it, encourage the developers!

Ciao

I'll second that Lee. There wasn't any as they say, "fine print" on the part of GOTD or the developer on that giveaway. From reading these grievances I'd say it's safe to assume that people were very satisfied with the program. Now I could be wrong, but I don't think the asking price for a subscription renewal would send anyone who liked the program into bankruptcy. It's a fair offer...

Please refrain from going to every post you find about a-squared and whining.

You know it was a 1 year free subscription, said that in the terms and conditions of the give away.

Did you do as it said in the txt file that came in the download "Create a new user account at the setup wizard as requested"?
The txt file instructs this:
------------------------------------------------------
Installation

Unzip the package you`ve downloaded and install the software.
Create a new user account at the setup wizard as requested and log in
with the emailed password. Click the "Convert coupon code" link at the bottom
of the following licenses screen and enter the code.

(The code is in the txt file.)

Follow the wizard instructions to the end.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you're worried about getting your email spamed then just quickly set up an on the side email just for this at yahoo or hotmail or some other free email service. Always good to have a extra email for these reasons.

Today, 2 AUG 08 GOTD is A-Squared. When downloaded/installed it was the 30 day trial version.
Entered the KEY exactly as provided here but box appeared saying
"Already In Use"

So how do I resolve this, assuming it must be done today?
Of course re[ported the difficulty with A-Squared Support, but whether because of weekend or otherwise, no reply yet.

Any ideas?
