It is also possible that your "My documents" folder got set to "read only". In that case, you will need to right click on "My documents", and set it back to it's default settings. If the "read only" setting is checked, you could try unchecking that, and telling it to apply to all subfolders. If you are not an administrator on your computer, and there is more than one account present, it is possible that you are being denied because you do not have permissions to alter the documents for the other accounts. Would right clicking and go to properties and go to the "Compatibility" tab and change the "run this program compatibility mode", wouldn't that help in running this program as like a 32bit version of XP if this is the case? There are many programs that are not compatible with it yet, that is the only downside I can think of so far. Sometimes to get all past this is to uninstall the program, then find and deleate the zip file from GAOTD and then clean out any left over files, caches and registry entries all with a cleaner like "CCleaner" then restart the computer, then try download the the GAOTD zip file again and retry. If you don't have CCleaner you can download it from here. What kind of OS are you running Vista, XP ? Are you under an administrator sign on screen name in your Windows' OS? Did you try right mouse click on the setup.exe file and try the "Run as Administrator" option?
