I followed copmom advise (Thanks!) and went to the "Status" tab, clicked on the "Check for Updates" button and GU did the downloading and installing all by itself.</p> <p>When it was done I was asked to reboot and a few minutes later I checked the license info. What I found was that I was the proud owner of Glary Utilities Pro version 2.6.0.228 with "Never" as expiration date, and the name of the licensee was the same as it was before. Heck even the Start menu location was left untouched.</p> <p>Lee and copmom, thank you for bringing this up. Previous version; 2.3.2.101, now updated to 2.6.0.228<br /> For those still uncertain, follow Lee's advice. Also possible install Erunt on your system and configure to make auto-backups each morning. If not, you can cancel. For some reason, now when I click the "Check for Updates" button on the main panel I get switched to the very page Lee has provided the link to. That's a download, folks, and my Vista Home Premium edition balks when I try to install the download, no matter what browser or downloader I use, even under "Run as Administrator" mode. And yes - to preclude interference, I killed the current copy from running while I tried the download, and closed all windows and tabs.
