Bonjour "xxxxx"

Ohhh Dear, someone is in a bad mood!!!
Hummm, there was a post by the Big Boss last week (I think), about changing servers & possible problems. You have to check his blog, it's there that he tells us wassup.

They asked us to report any problems we might come across.
Several of the regulars have in fact reported problems, on the freeware section, on not being able to post, on posts disappearing, unable to log-in.

So •NO•!! You are not the only one having problems, nobody is censuring your posts, nobody is mad at you!
Please don't be mad at us!
Servers are a finicky bunch, they don't "serve" us at all :( We are at their mercy! Darn!!!
Others are doing what u'r doing, ie posting here cause they can't post on the main page.

It would indeed be supremely useful if you could send a PM to the Boss, detailing the problems you are having. They wont fix it if they don't know it's happening ...

BTW, thank you for the info about today's soft, very useful.
••• May I dare suggest you change the title of the thread, and put instead the name of the soft, so others could find it later on w the "Search" function? Merci! :D

Bonne Journée, Manu

I've tried to post a comment for today's giveaway (iSpring Pro 3.5) roughly 6 times, and nothing has worked. I also tried to register an account and have had to use someone else's to make this post (as two attempts have failed). What the hell is going on? I can't post or register. What was so wrong with this post?
"This is getting very annoying. This is the third time I've written this post.

Previously given away on March 4 2008, an earlier version however. Received 67% positive from 527 votes.
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/ispring-pro/

The publisher details their program very thoroughly here.
http://www.ispringsolutions.com/products/ispring_pro.html

There is a tutorial/QuickTour of the giveaway here.
http://www.ispringsolutions.com/quicktour.html?ref=launcher

Hardware needed for the giveaway is:
-Pentium-III/AMD Athlon 500 MHz
-256 Mb RAM
-100 Mb free hard drive space

You don't need any registration info for this product, just remember to run the Activate.exe before the Setup.exe. Full instructions in the readme.txt file.
On first run of the program you can launch straight into it or take the tour, which is on their website (its the link I posted above).
Its an add-in to MS Powerpoint in the form of a small toolbar.

Download size: 8.86 MB
Installed Size: 21.5 MB

Very useful to allow you to put your tutorials/tours/presentations on the web. High compression as well, supposedly it can change a 43 MB .ppt file into a 1 MB .swf file.

Recommend you download it. Also for your consideration, a freeware alternative.
http://www.authorgen.com/authorpoint-lite-free/powerpoint-to-flash-converter.aspx

But I recommend the giveaway, a very nice, simple and effective product."

My most recent attempt.
