Thanks anyways Madison. I can't even go to the help button to see if I'm registered either. No matter what button I hit the program just shrinks and then disappears. I’m thinking of waiting a few more hours then if no one comes up with a suggestion then I'll try the trial version at the programmer’s site and see if it does the same thing.

Don't know what to tell you, Mess. I only have half the WinXP system you have yet mine seemed to install okay, jumped thru GOTD's hoop okay, launches okay, HELP|ABOUT shows it registered to GOTD okay.
However at HELP|REGISTER there is no serial number displayed, it warns that you have to register to get all features and the OK button is gray.
I never have the administrator-privileges hassle others experience. At least one person on the comment board reports the same problem blank serial number and I don't see where a moderator answered that question.
Am I registered or am I not registered? That is the question.

It seems to install and register ok. Any action I try like starting a new project or clicking anything in the menu, even the help button it shrinks in increments to the top left and the program is not usable. It shrinks to a small tab to the top left and I try clicking on it and nothing happens. Also in the menu bar the program just sits there and clicking on that nothing happens. I have to use CTRL ALT & DEL to shut it down. Tried different display settings beside uninstall and installed 2 times. Being a guitar player for 40 years with tons of original music, some needing to put down in composition form, this would seem to have been a nice little program to try out.
Duel core Pentium D830 3.0 GHz
Windows Xp Mce Pro
