Yes, I am fine. Thank you. I've been spending time on youtube lately. I can't believe the number of people that think the U.S. Government was involved in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. Their theory is that it would gain public support for the military invasion of Iraq. I think the idea is just plain lunacy. I think some of those kooks have pulled their tin foil hats down to tight and cut off the circulation to their brains (assuming they have one).

Oops, sorry for the rant... HOSS

I don't know that these sites are ones "You've Probably Never Seen" but I thought someone might find them interesting. I got them from my ISP's newsletter for February.

To Refi or Not To Refi?
http://www.bankrate.com/brm/calc_vml/refi/refi.asp - With the current economic crisis, you may be wondering what, if anything, you should be doing differently with your finances. Should you sell stocks? Put off retirement? Pay down debt? If refinancing your mortgage is a move you're considering, use the Should You Refinance Your Mortgage Calculator on this site. By entering basic information, you'll find out your new monthly payment, monthly savings, difference in interest, total cost, and months to recoup costs.

Sweet Treats
http://www.hersheys.com/valentines/recipes/ - February is the month we celebrate love with kisses, hugs, gifts and delightful desserts. This site features recipes for cookies, pies, and other sweet treats to treat your sweetheart. There are heart-shaped cakes, raspberry-laden glazes, festive fruit, and, of course, plenty of chocolate.

Trip Advisor
http://www.tripadvisor.com/ - Recommendations from friends always help when traveling. But what if your friends haven't been where you're going? This website offers millions of reviews from travelers who have visited a wide selection of destinations worldwide. Get information on hotels, attractions, and restaurants; get suggestions for your next trip; or look for bargain travel ideas.

Coming Soon
http://www.film-releases.com/film-release-schedule-2009.php - Winter is the perfect time for indoor entertainment, and many movies (both big screen and DVD) will be released in the coming weeks to provide it. This site lists release dates chronologically, or you can search for the film you've been dying to see by title, actor, or genre. Click on film titles to get summaries, cast and director information, and other details. The site also allows you to download movies to view on your computer, TV, or portable player.

Jam the Scam
http://www.fakechecks.org/about.html - This site educates visitors about fake check scams that require you to wire money to the scammer after depositing a bad check into your bank account. The site's main message: You are responsible for the missing funds! Take the Fraud Tests to find out if you are susceptible to being a victim of these scams, watch the Fake Out and victim videos to learn more, and review the prevention information to find out how to avoid these costly mistakes.

Bobby - That slide looks like it could send organs through the diaphragm! But, it's so incredibly hot here that, today, I might be OK with it. :)

For the brave/absolutely crazed souls among us, a water slide with a loop. WoW! what a ride that must be!

Watch the young lady after her first attempt .. though the video is in German, the trembling is universal language. Her courage is admirable!

**edit**

Funkygal, that crystal ball is kinda fun! The first time, I was too weary to concentrate on much .. and it showed an image of a bed. Second attempt was concentration on birthday party for youngest grandchild today .. it showed an image of a school locker. I think I need to follow Maizey's suggestion .. c.o.f.f.e.e .. need c.o.f.f.e.e! <grin>

I asked the crystal ball a question, but I didn't understand the answer. So, I asked for and explanation and, I think, it gave me a cup of coffee. Now I'm going to make a pot! WOW! It was right on target! :D

Finally able to try the lifespan thingy. Apparently I can unpack ... I have until 2049.

Odd .. did you notice the options for body mass and smoking/non-smoking? There should be choices for 'Length of Commute to Forest,' 'Access to Fishing Spots,' 'Number of Local Swimming Holes.' ... hm... or perhaps their inverse factors ... 'Length of Commute on Smoggy Freeway,' 'Access to Corporate-Level Bathrooms,' 'Number of Liquid Lunches on Expense Account,' 'Number of Days Forced to Wear A Tie/Suit or High Heels/Suit.' The authors of that calculator have to account for *real* factors in our lives!

Speaking of calendars ....Maya, Crop Circles and Sun Charts...oh my!
