Do you or anyone know if your trick also works on games that come with a game player/game manager? Like MostFun or IWin? MostFun ads don't come up often, but IWin is annoying as they pop up every couple of minutes. Curious if anyone has a workaround as they have some good free games I can't fine anywhere else. But I found a way around it. If you disconnect from the Internet, then turn on the game, the only ad you ever get is about a 5-second still picture advertising the game you are playing. The game cannot download the commercials if you are playing it while off-line. I have about 20 Gamehouse games that I play that way, and they are just as good as if I had paid full price. Also included in the same promotion was Prince of Persia, but the download wasn't working for me, so I didn't get it. I will assure you that when it says there is advertising in the game, there is plenty of it. A 30 second video about McDonald's (the same mundane one every time) would come up every so often, and you had to watch it. All I can remember is hearing "Dollar Menuaire" 50 billion times. I didn't think getting the game was worth being scarred for life by McDonald's, so I left it, and played it only when I was really bored. However, I recently revisited the game to see that all the advertising was removed, so now I'm happy. To sum it up, I have 2 points to make: 1) I'd have bet most of you would have uninstalled the game if you ever had it due to the intense amount of advertising, so don't worry about it. 2) Don't immediately uninstall things if you think you'll regret it later. Wait until you absolutely need to. For example, don't uninstall "Flex GIF Animator" until you need the space for a different application (or you find out that you will definitely never get the code, which may be the case). This game was released three years ago and was ground breaking at the time of its release.
