Here is another geography game that requires much more accuracy to be awarded points.

186,484 ... or roughly the same as yesterday. I need to dust off one of my atlases, as most of my trouble involved names of African continent nations, which are very different than ones I learned 'back in the day.' You're right, Lee .. would be a better game if the map was large enough to see. Hard to gain accuracy points with this version.

**EDIT**

That sound you hear? It's my last surviving brain cell doing a victory yell:
247,758.    Now, I quit!

Well I think the coder of this game is Italian anyway.

A lot of the questions were of Italian areas.

Italy is probably the easiest nation to pick out as it's like a football boot kicking a football.

I must make sure I learn the principality countries of China, they can be a pain to pick out on such a small scale.

I did not realise though, that Czechoslovakia was so close.

If you get a big country like Russia, it asks you for Moscow and you don't get it close enough there is a huge difference in points.

Just had another go.

Lee .. still a respectable score! You know, the trouble with being old (ahem) in the age of computers is much of the geography I knew as a youngster is no longer valid. I remember one of my teachers pointing out the proposed development of Brasilia. She told us that a planned capital was an extraordinary event that probably would not occur again in our lifetimes.

There are, what, a half-dozen planned capitals now?

Methinks I need to find a test circa 1956 :}
