After buying several games from Garage games I received an Email recently inviting me to sign up for Instant action which is a free games server that enables you to play several games online against other peoople. It works something like a simple gameshadow or game spy server wherby you can either join games already being played or you can set up your own game and invite the world or just friends to play against you. The layout of the downloadable package is excellent; see the slideshow below (3 images):

http://s109.photobucket.com/albums/n61/Whiterabbit_01/gaotd/Forums/Instant%20action/?albumview=slideshow

There's six games to choose from at the moment. Marble Blast, which is a really cool marble rolling game, Zap a top down space shooter, think tank, Rokkit Ball, Cyclomite and screw jumper. All games are free to play.

I bought the arcade version of Marble Blast Gold for my son two Christmas' ago and he still plays the game a lot. (there's an editor and loads of fan made levels that you can download for the arcade game) The online version has been given a graphics makeover and looks nearly as cool as switch ball.

Marble Blast Gold:

If you buy the game you'll be interested in visiting the forums where you'll find links to all the free content:

http://www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.forum.php?qf=77

Switch Ball:

http://www.atomicelbow.com/games_view.php?id=2

there's an Xbox version of Switchball as well. This is the best marble rolling game I've ever seen. I don't regret buying it though the number of levels is limited and unlike Marble blast Gold it doesn't come with a levels editor.
