Probably. Most software does. But I'd say either Microsoft doesn't know about them, or they are so obscure or insignificant that Microsoft doesn't consider it a problem. (There are still problems with SP2 by the way, so don't let that put you off upgrading).</p> <p>I would suggest downloading the file separately rather than via "Microsoft Upgrade" - so you can burn SP3 to a CD/DVD for installation at a later date should it prove necessary (ie. A system rebuild etc). SP3 is large enough to make redownloading a nuisance.</p> <p>Slipstreaming is creating a new "build" of your XP installation disc, that includes SP3. Then when setting up your PC with this disc - the SP3 files are installed rather than the original SP1 or SP2 files.
