I have mine running. I have just started Chapter 9. Mine has been sick a few times but I seem to have worked out how to keep his energy and intelligence up now. Thank you tommy1 for the link to the forum advice site. I was a bit lost.

My Elder is about where yours is. Luckily, I already live near Yuma, so I didn't have to move mine!

Everything seems to be going well, except that I noticed that the "efficiency" for mine was staying kind of low. I discovered that it was because I didn't have him lifting weights.....I had assigned him extra shovelling.

Now, even when I have 400 in the food tank, the game doesn't offer to let me send him to town. I am assuming that he won't be allowed to fo to town until after he finishes digging his hole.

I have also noticed that I can get away with only four or five hours sleep for the Elder.

Have you noticed that if you click on the TV picture while he is eating, he will start doing a little dance in his chair?

No diseases yet. I guess I've been keeping him healthy enough.

Hi, just saw your post when I was wondering the same thing! I have mine going still. My Elder has gotten his shovel, but he can only dig about 3 hours a day if he wants to keep himself fed. Maybe if he moved a little faster? He nearly froze to death in the orig. city, so I moved him to sunny Phoenix! So, how is yours doing?
