Just to share my view for this German site. There seems to be 'pointless' as most install don't give us choice to choose 'English' but default as German. For those who don't read German is not very 'convenience'. Thanks tommy1 for the new links. Good day everyone.

Have already used Burning Studio, not too bad, but wish they had the option of converting to full screen! I usually use DVDSanta for my DVD burning which I wish was a tad faster.

Thanks ender and others for sharing this great news. If anyone still have the chmEditor given by GOTD sometimes ago. You can copy and paster any foreign language and let it translate. Is a big help for me. The only 'con' is you must know what is the language cos it don't 'detect' . I have just register with this german site and receive this reply online. I got the Photo Commander before and is quite a neat software for photo editing and some graphic works. I too receive a quote to pay how much for their upgraded version. But too bad I just got my PSP X2 ... :P . May consider cos I do like their little 'scrapbooking' frame and etc function. Take care all.
So now I shall await for my comfirmation too. Hopefully can be in English if not it may not be easy to use. :)

i got the notification about it two days ago from blitzbox.de which is a long year software seller in germany.
blitzbox.de is a partner of http://www.avanquest.com/

so, software.de is also as blitzbox.de claims, a new partner of them.

copmom, I didn't write against Ashampoo! I have their programs too. but I am a bit reserved against this german download site. We always are critical towards GOATD programs but download everything FREEE from every site, independent of our needs. Have a look at the developers page and decide then if you need this outdated tool. I'm sure you'll find it on a trustworthy site.

I've gotten several things from Ashampoo from GOTD as well from them directly. Just a little while ago, got 3 more registered free ones from them, offered in a pop up box when I installed Photo Optimizer. "Internet Accelerator, Clipfinder, and Startup Tuner2".
I think I had already gotten Clipfinder from GOTD. They're always making offers. But, so far, everything I've gotten from them seem to be pretty good! I've even gotten an email from them one time, listing their programs and asking me what I'd "like" to pay for them! Thought that was funny!

Hi copmom and friends, I'm a bit doubtfully concerning this site. It is a new site, WOT has no rating yet, they are searching for addresses and try to get folk with outdated software.
Most of those tools we have already got from GOTD and have a lot of reviews over a lot of other programs.
I would be carefully and think that this download is not really a must.

I've gotten several of Ashampoo's programs, and like them. Recently bought one called Photo Optimizer... gee, just went looking for that one and found the directory, but can't find the .exe to start it! Well at least your post called this to my attention!

I do not speak German either but I think that the first one is your user-name and the second one is just your name. Anyway that is what I put in and it worked for me. The only problem I am having now is the the programs are in German too. So far have not figured out how to change the language for the one program I have downloaded. Hope this helps.

ender... to fill out your info., one line says vorname and the next line just says name. What is the difference between the 2 lines? I don't speak German.

i think, the instructions in the second email can be easily translated via google.
