Do they have a grammar plug-in for Firefox, I could use it to?

English was not my best subject(the grammar part) and my spelling lacks also,lol!

I'm just one of those COMMON folk, German background also, great grandma tried to teach me, but grandma used it for hiding what she didn't want us kids to hear! My dad also spoke German when we were young, but it faded away, I only remember a little.

Did qb7894 ever hear of password protect? Although I hate locking down my pc also, I might get amnesia and never get it unlocked, lol!

Sounds kinda mysterious to me. Hey....Sounds like a good start for a book. Maybe we can each contribute to a running story. I'll start:

Qb7894, after posting her final message on the GOTD Forum, turned off her PC, unplugged it, and took out a meat clever. She used the cleaver to chop off the power cord so that her daughter-in-law could never again use her PC without permission. While staring into the gleaming blade of the cleaver, an idea popped into her head. She called her daughter-in-law and said, "Hey! Wanna come over and check out my new improvement on my PC?"............(to be continued?)

Sorry to have "Dropped out of site" I was not hiding, But had an unplanned hospital stay.
I appologize to everyone for the rantings that have gone on under my name but I have a BI**H of a daughter-in-law, whom because of this is no longer allowed in my home when I am not here....Don't worry tho we didn't get along before this latest stunt of hers. Rune......gee, so maybe those who thought qb was just trying to get attention were right. I'm sorry to hear that. I didn't think she'd be that way....but then I always think the best of people. Well.....whatever. If she comes back fine and if she's gone......it's her loss.

It's a matter of common knowledge that my posts often are written in a really bad English. :(
As nobody corrects me, I'll never learn it (otherwise, I don't think that my old brain would ever learn). A spell-checker checks not the grammar, word order, misworded thoughts or my mistaken, unfortunate word choice.
Apart from our different languages, I think we have a lot in common.
So come on friends - let's ramble and high-jack threads as common.

FWIW, QB PM'd me a nice welcome when I registered on another site about a week ago, but my tardy reply (due to not revisiting that gamesite again) triggered a second and decidedly off-putting response... the exact same post that started this thread.
I defended GAOTD and most of the regulars (not me, however, cause I'm likely part of QB's complaint). There was no subsequent sign of the QB. My hunch is that he/she had a really really bad day on the Crazy Comments board and decided to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Hey there funkymom. I agree that this is one of the nicest group of people in a forum that I have seen also.

in the www are some organizations ( the same as in RL ) which would like to make trouble, to make mischief, to collect personal informations and email addies, sometimes you get warnings about some nicknames, sometimes you have to control some traces by yourself.
So, common guys and gals, we all have much fun, get good infos and personal help in these forums and can well and good live with a troll, but let's not feed him.

PLady100 thank you for your comment, reading her/his posts I often thought that the wording varies, and that there is /are one or two posters with the same style / phrasing.
(Sorry for my poor "wording" my language is German)

Well, seems to me to be a trouble maker. Since no one remembers ever seeing anyone jump him/her, Bubby can't find deleted posts, everyone agrees that they like qb, qb hasn't returned ...... my observation is he/she just came on for attention (congratulations, you got it) or forgot that they post under multiple names so they can stir things up and not have to lay claim to it.

crazyritten, you can probably speak English better that most people in the US! It's a shame how some people, especially young people, have butchered the language. I give you a lot of credit for learning different languages, then posting to a forum that is not in your native tongue. You are doing terrific!

I can speak Englisch much better. Sometimes my Englisch is better than my Dutch language, hahahaha.
It is a great way indeed to learn Englisch.

If anyone will learn Dutch words, just let me know.
Sometimes it can be hilarious. Dutch language is harder to learn, especcially to speak.

Hello qb, i thing i be here in the forums about a month ago, so im still a fress newbee.
I don't know a lot of computers but if i can help i will help everyone.
This forum makes me laugh, help me with the pc problems i have and i find it nice to read the comments from other members.
The people here are nice and helpfull and can take a joke.
So can i. There are many people with hard humor, soft humor and so on.
If it will offend you, tell it and it can be sort it out.
I love almost all kinds of humor and there are little people that can hurt me, because i have a smooth back to fall from.
So, i hope to read you soon and wishing you a nice weekend.

Thanks Buckleysmom for the greeting. I am new to the forum which is probably why you haven't seen much of me. Regardless I am beginning to comment more and appreciate the welcome. I also felt it relevant to apply to qb as my understanding of this forum and the people in it is quite the opposite. Yes I realise that the comments section of the software and games can be quite negative sometimes. But that is definitely not the case here (unless you are disrespectful or rude and rightfully so then).

It sounds to me like you were very happy here, what happened to change your opinion in the last couple of months? I wish you would explain so we can all understand why you would blast this site after the nice things you have posted in the past.

I am a newbie here and can honestly say that everyone has been encouraging, helpful and friendly. Although only a sporadic contributor I have been reading the forums for almost a year now. I think you are misunderstanding the humour, it is done in jest and meant to be facetious. It is dry, black and fun. Please explain how you have been offended and I am sure the regulars will respond. If people didn't care obviously they would not have taken the time to reply above. I am curious to see what your response will be, I think you have misread the tone in general.

The Problem with Internet Forums is written by a forum administrator and posted in his forum. It shows some good examples of what you will find in most forums. Thankfully, I have not seen any of this here. :)
