Here is the official response:

<b>"We're currently investigating in this problem with SP1. A fix should be available soon."</b>

In other words, there is a conflict between Vista SP1 & Mamutu. So my fears are confirmed. In the mean time, we will need to wait for their fix.

Also, be aware that over easter, "official responses" might be slower or non-existent as staff may be on holiday. You need to allow for that.

So far, I don't see that the folks at Mamutu have responded yet. Nothing I have found on their web site speaks of any problem w/SP1.
Maybe Pinhead & I are the only ones? If so, then it is our machines. Too early to tell.

Thanks BuBBY. I did report this to Mamutu site in link above. See the post by Bruce. I have temporarily disabled Mamutu & waiting for an update prior to re enabling.
I was just wondering if I was only one, or others found same problem.

I'd suggest either disable Mamutu, or put off installing SP1 until an update for Mamutu has been released.

The best place to report or check for problems with Mamutu is the official forums

http://forum.emsisoft.com/Default.aspx?g=topics&f=45

I would expect if there is a problem it will be resolved ASAP.

Has anyone besides me noticed that Mamutu conflicts with Vista SP1 (32bit)?
I installed SP1 and after the final reboot, the system would not work at all. Tried hard reboot several times, same results. It was completely hung. I rebooted, went into safe mode (F8), opened InControl (also a recent giveaway), stopped Mamutu from running. After that, my system boots up fine.
I believe there is a conflict between Mamutu & Vista SP1
If you are running Mamutu, but do not have InControl, you can still disable Mamutu from your startup.
