Also from time to time they get "batches" of licenses to sell - which is why they display stuff like "Batch #2 - almost all gone" - and that is what the "Gold Membership" is for - it is more expensive - but for popular software - they make it available to Gold members first - and if there is any left when the timer runs out - then it is put on sale for everyone else. Normally this includes all upgrades till the next major version (eg. 2.00 - 2.999) Then you can upgrade normally at the same discounted price as any other registered user. Roughly the cost to purchase points is €1.00 EUR per point + €1.00 EUR Transfer fee. so 5 points = €6.00 EUR, 10 points = €11.00 EUR - The most expensive program is 4 points.
