Darn,

I've gone to school for about 30 years and finally graduated a couple years ago and I have an Office Live account which is also free. I also have some of the Express Edition versions of the programs offered, but they are from version 5.0. I would love to have 8.0 Professional Editions. If only Microsoft decided to give students hundreds of dollars worth of software for free a couple of years ago...

Oh well, another opportunity down the drain.

-Mario

Rug-rat (rùg-ràt) noun that often acts like a ADHD verb
A miniature human clone, often with loud and obnoxious manners, that can be loaned out along with their student ID to aid and abet in the surreptitious if not downright illegal acquisition of software.

oooops I forgot to give the link

https://downloads.channel8.msdn.com/

I used my live.co.uk email address btw but I think they would get suspicious if you all used this email address, don't you think? I think that's what you meant by a rugrat, anyway.

K8, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a granny on this board. Maybe one can oblige by renting out a rugrat for 5 minutes, the time it takes to set up a hotmail account? :-)

FREE - Visual Studio 2008 PRO, Expression Studio, Windows Server 2003 Standard, xna Games Studio 2.0

This is for students only but if you are downloading it for a student friend it seems you only need to 'borrow' their details (cough, cough). There are quite a few programs on offer including Visual Studio & Expression Studio. You need to sign in using a hotmail address or windows login and then verify yourself as a student.
