There is a file copying fix for this that's been discussed near the bottom of the comments on the game page:

The catch is the website you download it from is launched in your web browser every time you exit the game, just like the ones from gametop.com , speaking of which...

I installed The bowling game from yesterday and it installed and downloaded fine and when I started it up it worked but when I clicked "New Game" It din't work a little popup came up and said "COuldn't find scene/<something> wood42.jpg" I'll see what it was later (right now I'm on a diferent computer. I am running vista home premium. I tried running it in administrator mode and it still didn't help.
Please help cause' I really want this game
