Hi RM, Thank You for the new nickname, melikey!! :-D

Yes I read both ur comments, but only after Hubby gave me the heads up. He had already clicked the thumbs up when I got there.
I was still laughing from some of BuBBy's comments :-D
This one cracked me up: "Who is BuBBy, I only noticed him the past 2 days"!!!
2 days???? OOOOOHHH Boy!! There were even comments about it on the French page of Reshade! Bwahahwa
Did u see the one about the chicken??
I was translating the one from a Brazilian, to send to Mr.B

So anyway, yes I got the program on all the PCs. I find it's more than enough for the needs of non-professionals. Of course, it can't do miracles. As u said "garbage in/garbage out", what else were they expecting??
Of course, no problems dwnlding/installing.
I only have had 3-4 problems overall, mostly on games and mostly on the same PC, that insists on giving me a hard time. And it's the newer one, go figure!!

Your pic is very good and to the point.
It should be on the front page w the caption: Newbies, please Click Here BEFORE u even dare to post!! Some ppl shouldn't have the right to touch a computer.
All I know is, if I can do it (and I know that I know nothing), how hard can it be??
Poster #144 said it best: The biggest problem faced by too many posters on here today isn’t how to upsize their pictures but how to upsize their brains. The rest of his tirade is even better, u should read it.

Peace, Mangoette

ManuMangoette, I hardly ever tread over to the game of the day comments section (tough crowd, that); but, today I dared to post two comments. (#35, #41) Was surprised nobody used the phrase "garbage in/garbage out" to counter the whiners who didn't like the results they got when using poor photos.

FWIW, I was impressed with Reshade's pixel interpolation algorithm*, but if you're doing professional work (I don't), you might want to compare Reshade to the comparably priced ($90 each) appls below (they both offer free 30-day trials) -
Qimage - http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/
or
Picture Window - http://dl-c.com/content/view/13/27/

Never got around to producing samples of various pix at various ppi's today, but I did upload a screenshot that might help those who can't seem to read the README's or take the instructions too literally -
http://www.topsecretgovernment.info/files/b4gep9yaq93klrwvsojm.jpg
I'm assuming that's where some of the problem occurs, when people who see the instructions to "Activate and RUN" click the RUN instead of the EXTRACT ALL button on the compression warning box. So far, I've never had any problems registering/installing. The screenshot is not the step-by-step I was hoping to finish, but maybe it'll help some poor sap. Next, I intend to play with delenn's 2Pic appl... ahem, well okay, at least it's stored in my "Queue of 1000's".

* pixel interpolation math is so far above my head, I couldn't see it with one of Wabbit's telescopes... but if anyone's interested in pursuing the subject -

Got this from my other forum. :)

2 Pic
2 Pic is a graphical program that you can use to edit your images (like photographs and drawings). There are already several famous programs that you can use for this, like PaintShop Pro, PhotoShop and Picture Publisher. Why should you use 2 Pic instead? Because 2 Pic is much easier to use.

Programs like PaintShop Pro have a lot of functions, but you will need a lot of time to find out what exactly are all those functions. Sometimes, you get lost in the big number of functions. That won't be the case with 2 Pic. 2 Pic is designed for ease of use and it has a unique design with the functions clearly arranged on tabs. That's the big advantage of 2 Pic: with less time and less experience, you can do very nice things.

2 Pic's name is because you can open two images next to each other. Many functions of 2 Pic use both images, like merging.

What exactly can you do with 2 Pic? This list shows you the most useful functions of 2 Pic:
Merging images with each other
Making images fade into each other
Spout images into each other with an aerosol
Give images frames
Apply cool effects to images, like: rotate, make sharper and make mosaic
Insert texts with several layers
Fit the size to, like, an A4 paper
Insert gradient very easily

http://2pic.moor-software.com/

It has pre-made frames plus you can download more from here: http://2pic.moor-software.com/frames.php?lang=English

It is in 2 languages, English and Nederlands.

Enjoy!
