Attempts to additionally “activate” or “setup” from non-admin accounts (ordinary user; i.e., my kids’ account) did not result in working programs.</p> <p>Instead I got a small window with the following error message for both products:</p> <p>Error: Cant’t find instalation path!</p> <p>(with spelling as shown)</p> <p>For Media Resizer Pro that message appeared in a window titled “connector” and I tracked it to this file: C:\Program Files\Media Resizer PRO\connector.dll</p> <p>For Video Watermark Factory that same message appeared in a window titled “Video Watermark Factory”, but I have not yet found the file that contained the message (I was assuming the file would similarly be somewhere under C:\Program Files\Video Watermark Factory)</p> <p>Thanks to “Carol” and others for the comments on Media Resizer Pro regarding disabling/renaming the shell extension file “shellext.dll”.
