I have Windows XP SP2 and Internet Explorer 7.0 with a LAN Internet connection with Proxy turned off - Automatic Settings selected. But a few days ago I noticed Http 1.1 selected in Internet options and I unselected it. That's when the trouble began and I could not activate giveawayoftheday downloads any more. I selected Http 1.1 and then bam, all of a sudden it activates again. Thanks to all that posted to help.
