"First off what is a UAC"

Google has the answer. One suitable answer can be found HERE.

How do you transfer giveaways to different computers? GOTD only supports the install of giveaways while the giveaway is running. refer to the rules

@DaleonaDave - yes turning off UAC will also work - that is like running everything as Administrator all the time (especially in terms of software installations). http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=102562

I'm constantly seeing people talk about this, and I've never had to use "Administrator" option with my Vista system. Could it be because I have my UAC turned off?

Correct. "Run As Administrator" for activations on Vista.

It is all to do with Vista failing to write registration settings if you are running the Activate.exe as an "ordinary" user.

Try right clicking on the both the activation file as well as the installation file and selecting "run as an administrator". This always works for me and it seems to work for others who are using Vista.

I'm using vista and I allways have problems with the installation. In wondershare case it´s asking me the registration code even when i runned the activation sofwtare. In an XP machine I didn´t have any problems and it runs ok. Do anyone has any solution for this?
