No conflicts noticed, although when downloading or processing something huge, Avast can sure slow things down as it methodically scans all files. Speed vs Security... I opt for security, even from a "trusted" source. AVG is brilliant and in my experience better by far than many 'paid for' av programs. I also like this better than Avast! only because it seems to conflict less with a few of my programs.
