It seams to launch from one location only. I only installed it once and I didn't have it on the system before.
I checked and unchecked in the options menu and in autostart, I rebooted several times with different settings - it's just strange.
Anyway, this program is useful for me without autostart.
I'll have another look at it tomorrow.

Check the Tools->Options->General Tab in Evernote - look at the options you have set for running on startup etc.

Check your startup folders that you aren't running in twice from 2 locations.

Grab a (Freeware) copy of "Startup Inspector" from http://www.windowsstartup.com/

(SysInternals has a "better" (Free) tool called "AutoRuns" but it can be a little more intimidating if you aren't familiar with this stuff).

Use Startup Inspector to check when you might be launching it from 2 separate locations.

My question seems to be unique :
why does it run twice ?
In autostart-modus it runs twice - 2 icons in the taskbar,
2 parallel windows and twice in the task-manager with 21.112 K each.
Apart from that it runs perfectly. No installation-problems and no limitations.
I did want this prog for a long time, and I hope it will end the messy-era on my system.
But why does it RUN TWICE ??
