I wish people would quit calling Advanced Biorythyms "dumb". I rely heavily upon it to let me know which days will be favorable or unfavorable. On good days I go about my daily business. On bad days I shape-shift into a unicorn and just kinda hang out by the Magical River of Rainbows.

Hmh, at least when than moment comes around we know what to do ...

There is already my message related to Elprime Advanced Biorhythms. But the problem with Elprime Media recovery looks really weird. I have installed v1.5 and seems that it is registered and work properly (although I'm not make tests in the real work, but it doesn't close itself).

We just checked the giveawayoftheday free key for Advanced Biorhythms
and it really does not work. This is the terrible mistake and we really
appologize for it. I think we will immediately contact GOTD team and
offer updated version of the program and the new key.

Sorry for this inconvenience and hope for your understanding.

I could be wrong, but I always assumed GAOTD actually purchases a license for each piece of software offered here. If this is true and Elprime sold GAOTD an evaluation copy that obviously no longer works then that is no different from Elprime selling any one of us a full working version that was time stamped to stop working eventually. That would actually be considered theft by the software company.

I am sure GAOTD staff has better things to do than browse these forums but I would like to hear their opinion of this issue.

And yes, this IS a stupid program. That isnt the point. The point is they gave us, and possibly sold GAOTD a non working program. I invited Elprime support to these forums but I am sure they will not show up.

Maybe everyone here should inquire about this issue:

Thanks FranckW, If your copy of Media Recovery Pro 1.5 is still working, then I think it is only fair to discount my results as I am really only interested in the situation when the software has stopped working for everyone.

I'm still interested if anyone still has a working copy of the giveaways for Clock Pro or BioRhythms (I don't have BioRhythms for the same reason as you).

Anyone else care to confirm or deny their experience with the above 2 programs?

I can tell about neither Clock Pro - which I never downloaded - nor BioRythms - which I immediately uninstalled because it's a dumb software.

But I have Media Recovery Pro 1.5 installed on both my desktop and my laptop.
Truly, I don't need it. But still I keep it, just in case.
After reading this topic, I tried it on the 2 computers. In each case, it launches without a hitch, says it is registered to giveawayoftheday.

I don't know what happened to you, but I thought you would be interested by my different experience.
As I implicitely stated above, I don't think Elprime softwares are especially good, but I don't think either that Elprime guys are dishonnest. Just to do them justice... :)

Does anyone know if there have been similar problems with Elprime's Clock Pro or Media Recovery (ver. 1.0&1.5)?

I've just checked Elprime's Clock Pro and Media Recovery 1.5 - The former crashes and launches Dr Watson. Media Recovery 1.5 shuts itself down before it displays anything - almost to give the impression that nothing happened (Process Explorer and Process Monitor do not lie though).

If you were thinking of purchasing anything from Elprime just be a little cautious - in case their "full version" software just falls apart after a few weeks....

Does anyone know if there have been similar problems with Elprime's Clock Pro or Media Recovery (ver. 1.0&1.5)? After the way they've handled this I don't want anything to do with them, but I think they should come up with a better response than what they've given. It would be nice if the GOTD admins would chime in, too. I know it's not their fault, but they could at least acknowledge it.
By the way, Lee, thanks for those links.

I would like to suggest to GAOTD that they no longer offer Elprime software. The "free" versions that they offer here are actually only evaluation copies.

I know this was already mentioned, but I have been going back and forth with them over this and they actually had the nerve to tell me that EVERYONE who downloaded Advanced Biorhythms entered the key incorrectly, which is why the software no longer works.

Yeah, HUNDRED of us entered the wrong key. Whatever.....

They are willing to knock $4 off the newest version for those who were "inconvenienced" by this issue.

Sounds like a scam to me. Offer it for free, take it away then offer a discount to us.
