... Whenever you receive "today's" GOTD email, just delete the older one. That's what I do, and I haven't missed a GOTD yet. ...

I have, just rode it out. had some I downloaded expire, couldn't get to the download page entering via the site name on some until expired, days of emails missing...

nope, not upset, just attesting that events did occur as others have said. I don't erase the emails, I archive them, and I make sure to save the links for the program site, pointer to the wikifortio download, and the wikifortio url as well. and the original archive, etc. for any file I download free.

I'm trying to replicate a bug in the catalog program I use for data DVDs that occurred before I kept a way to download another copy for study.

but it makes for a fair log of what didn't happen.

In this case, I agree with you. Giveaways that start hours late should be extended at the other "end" of the giveaway. Even though the next giveaway will start at the usual time, and for a few hours two giveaways will be running. After all, they do state, "The software will be available for download for 24 hours (or more, if agreed by software publisher)"

I will pass on your comments to the GOTD team.

Yesterdays game offer has already "expired". A new game offer has already been posted.
Yesterday's offer was posted for less than 24 hours. "Late" start. "Early" end.
It appears the time every game offered lately has been "unpredictable". 8-(

Lee, the problem is not sorted! Email is arriving a day late and the 'give away' page is not coming up with the days give away until several hours into the 24!

"New" game of the day email arrived 45 minutes ago. "Crusaders of Space".
I thought the offer had been repeated due to the late posting of the game yesterday. Proceed to download page ... The offer had expired. ... What's up there?
"Game Giveaway" takes an extended "vacation"... Now is very late updating offers. Offers are not "new", but a repeat of previous offers. -- Very good ones; but, repeats.
I'm not telling anything that is unknown. I AM grateful for the games.
I would like to see repeats of some of the software offers. ... Maybe swap teams for awhile? LOL
BTW. Is there anyone moderating the discussions on the game forums ???
I am VERY OFFENDED by the remarks of #6 -tbenson. !!!
It's Monday ... Hope everyone (except tbenson) has a great week !

I'm not able to find GGAOTD for some reason... although I *have* been able to see that I'm missing good games. GGAOTD isn't on the GAOTD page, and though I can find GGAOTD through Google, it takes me to a list of the last several days games, with no opportunity to find the current ones. Help! Thanks in advance.

Here's a suggestion for not missing a GOTD: subscribe to the daily email from GOTD, and do not delete it until you receive the next day's GOTD email. Then, if you have not received "today's" GOTD email, just go to the bottom of that last email and click on the GOTD link --> you'll see "today's" GOTD page. Whenever you receive "today's" GOTD email, just delete the older one. That's what I do, and I haven't missed a GOTD yet.

Good luck!

I noticed this too. Yesterday the main site was down for several hours. You people need to start clicking those google ads or this site might go "poof".
