Being new to this forum, I'm not sure if this has been covered in the past. I did a search, but could find no reference to it, so I'm making this post hoping that I don't repeat old news.

Simtel is offering a free, non-upgradeable license key for WinRAR 3.51. I got the offer yesterday, and couldn't be happier with it. Until then, I used 7-zip, but as most of us know, you cannot make compressed images from within 7-zip, only unpack them.

Even though this version of WinRAR is a bit old, it still has full functionality and an interface that I'm more comfortable with, when all is said and done.

Once you install WinRAR 3.51, you'll see that it is regged to PCA Special Offer.
