That's the obvious bit. </p> <p>I believe there are 3 "levels" of error messages programmers can aim at when a program crashes. (Going from least to most helpful)</p> <p>1. Tell the user (or explain) what went wrong.<br /> 2. Tell the user (or suggest) how to fix it.<br /> 3. (ie.
