Sorry, Lee, have no clue. I figure that they want to use the info obtained to do some extended market research into what apps people use with the Mojopac and possibly from where people are and in which environments they put the Mojo to use. The later because Mojopac does not actively support non-english Windows versions and sometimes gives problems with that. Since my re-format I am running on a Spanish XP and could not get office 2003 installed - switched to English Windows and install went smooth. Office 2003 is now working in both environments son once you get installed you passed the major hurdle.
Their web-page lists the differences between the 2 versions in short form, but does not elaborate.
Now for me, the free version is great, because I can stick it on the 2GB USB drive that's my son's, who is going to mainly use it to play his games on friends computers. I was gonne write he is not going to have too much sensitive info on that USB, but with all the perps out there almost anything is too much. I will true crypt the thing though and run the mojo from there.
Pura vida

Check out www.mojopac.com when looking for portability and apps running from an external USB. They are now offering a so called Freedom version for free.
Downside: you have to agree to some Anonymous User Data collection
also check forum about what works and what doesn't.

Whilst the Mojopac in itself can get corrupted easily (always have a clean install backup), a lot of apps do run. I put all the GOATD offerings on it that I might just need one day. Also, the games I downloaded here recently all run great.

So, for those that don't mind some data mining ... and don't want to shell out the $ 50 just yet
