These days all the "Memory Optimizers" do is get in the way of windows own Memory Manager, and cause problems with pseudo fixes.

It's suprising nobody bothers to ask the question, if such a simple process really worked and was even partially beneficial - don't you think Microsoft could've saved the years of research and design and possibly millions of dollars - to include a 20 dollar piece of shovel-ware as a built in component in Windows NT, 2000, XP or Vista? There is a good reason why software like this has never been included (even as an option) - It simply doesn't work.

Memory Optimizers give the illusion that they might be helping (Perhaps nice graphs- but the reality is when you are running out of memory, shifting the deckchairs to the other side of the titanic isn't going to make it stay afloat. Your options are either close down some running applications or install additional memory.

Great idea emptykiss. Ramboosters were great years back when random access memory was very limited (at the time we all thought that it couldn't get any better LOL) but now your only limited to your budget.

thanks dude.
i've read all the comments on tweakRAM earlier, and i think i will pass on this one. it will will speed up ur pc for a while then it will be back the way it was before again.
it will cause some programs to restart and everything, not a good idea.

anyway, thanks for the help hadeda. at least i know the correct link. i'll think of downloading it before tweakerRAM's time ran out. i'll just go buy some memory for my pc first
