Would it be possible for you to partition your d/drive to two drives (c&d)and move said progs to the created drive (d) and format drive 'C' with the op sys included?

It is what I do when things are really bad but I have alredy partitioned mine.

PS: Saving the programs part of the registry (backing up) is a good idea.. ;)

I have to reformat, is there a way to save the programs I have installed? Like saving the programs part of the registry?
