Too bad as Merscom usually have great games

Keep in mind Merscom is a distributor ;> This means that if a particular title is bad, it just indicates that Merscom made a bad decision (of who's product to distribute, as opposed to having made a whole "bad" program themselves) this time around. Honestly, I think Merscom might be using GotD as a practice ground; A few people noticed that certain titles didn't show up on their site.

By the way, the pinball game was made by Framework Studios.

My PC is not a very powerful one - albeit it is much more powerful than the requirement for this game, and the game runs without a hitch. I have a 2GHz processor, 1Gb of Ram and a nvidia geforce 6150 with 256 Mb of memory.
I don't know why the game doesn't run smoothly for some of us.

Merci.

I do speak French :-)

And yes it should be Run on an English OS; but how do I know, mine is in... French :-D

Anyways, from the comments on the English page, I won't bother downloading it as even my modest but better specced desktop PC won't be able to run it.

Too bad as Merscom usually have great games, but most comments complain about an obvious lack of speed, even on some good machines; only top machines and some above average ones can run it fine.

Also the game seems to lack in playing behavior.

Hi Jelpy.
To know your version of directX, just do as follow :
1/ Start menu
2/ Run (I hope I translate well, as I use a French version of windows; in French it's "Exécuter")
3/ Type "dxdiag" (without quotation marks)

hi,

How to find which version of DirectX is installed on my machine? I have a desktop PC which should be fine, but also a UMPC (small PC for big/winter coat pockets) that uses entry level technology.

I wonder if today's game (pinball) would work on my UMPC?!
