Alternatively, it might work to go to the programs website and download another copy of the program. Install it, and then exit the program making sure it has completely shutdown (including no icon in the system tray).

Then try to uninstall from control panel.

You must've had it running when you tried to uninstall it.
Check your start-ups (various tools such as msconfig and runalyzer will help you here) and remove it from there. Close the program, then remove it (from the panel if you can, otherwise manually).

I downloaded and activated this on the given day. It never worked right and always told me I had a 14 day trial period. Now, I've uninstalled it, and I still can't get rid of it. There is red writing on the bottom of my screen saying Desktop Icon Toy - unregistered, 0 days left. I cannot get rid of it and cannot get rid of the folder left on my c drive. Help!
