i can't change the keystroke to hide windows. the text field to change the keystoke seems not to be working in my Vista Home Premium.

Well considering that I run neither Vista nor Hide Window Plus - I can only assume that the developers are not in a position to support it on Vista yet.

Perhaps their official line might be something like, if it works for you while running Vista, that's just great. If it doesn't run under Vista for you - don't expect us to drop everything to try to fix it just yet... we fully expect there will be some issues with it.

There is a big difference between "software working" and "software being supported". ;)

Most likely the same reason why a lot of programs will not work correctly in Vista.

A lot of things have changed "under the surface" since Windows XP. In many cases the way "things are done" has changed, and programs have to be updated and retested to work under Vista. Also a lot of device drivers have to be rewritten or replaced.

So the reward for rushing out "to be first" with Vista, is heaps of programs (and devices) that have been working just fine for years on Windows XP, are now "broken". (At least until the developers can write some updates to make the programs Vista compatible).

It should all happen eventually... it just might take a while.

why is it that Hide Window Plus is not supported by Vista?

Did you try to update it or have it set to auto update? That will do it.

If you still have the key, remove the program and reinstall it using the supplied key that you have.

Hi GoTD, I've been using your site for a while now and I downloaded Hide Window Plus a while back and today it stopped working, it told me I needed to active it for it to continue running, which I don't think is very fair since I got a key through GoTD. If anyone can tell me what I may have done to ..I dunno to be honest, what do I do? x3
