actually, KeeKee, you can install a program called Crap Cleaner or CCleaner that will clean out the registry of keys that you don't need when a program goes missing (uninstalled/deleted). It safely deletes alot of keys you don't need.

Thanks. I'm not so computer savvy as to understand that registry business, so I guess I'll leave that for now.

The game is a self extracting archive. This means that it is a ZIP file which will...extract itself. It is never in the Add/Remove Programs applet because it doesn't bother to add the correct registry keys. It simply unzips its files and quits

Because it was not installed via a typical installer, there is no uninstaller. The uninstalling method is to simply delete the files via Windows explorer (e.g. Select the folder in Explorer and press the Delete key) This will remove the files from your computer, uninstalling the game. If you're worried about it leaving keys in the registry, go through it with a scanner or (if you know what you're doing) manually.

You won't have to reboot to uninstall it. Make sure that the program is not running when you try to delete it; the computer cannot delete files that are in use.

Did you have to reboot? When I remove from Add/Remove the desktop icons disappear. This did not happen. When I clicked on the LGH icon, the same thing happened after I attempted to play it a second time. The task manager indicated the LGH program was running.

I downloaded Last Galaxy Hero. Played it once. After that, it would no longer play. I went to uninstall it, however it was not listed in the Add/Remove program list. How do I remove a program that does not show up on this list?

Thanks a bunch.
