Do you have windows xp?

If so it does contain windows firewall if sp1a or sp2.

If you're not on sp2 you should update now.

I'm not on SP2, so no windows firewall, but I installed ZoneAlarm today, and that satisfies me. :3

And since I've installed ZoneAlarm, It has started working. Shame it's too late for immortal defense. :(

What operating system do you use?

If you have windows xp you can turn off the built in firewall.

Then turn it back on after.

Get yourself a free firewall as windows xp built in is basic.

http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/home.jsp

or OutPost Firewall Pro is also free here http://web.avanquest.com/special_offers/Summer_2007/AQFR/index.cfm

I'd run the program and it would pop up saying "Activation module failed to connect to givawayoftheday.com. Software activation is not possible at the moment. Please try again later or check your firewall settings."
I can't check the firewall settings, because I don't have one, nor a router. I don't have any problems with any other applications accessing the internet, so, any ideas? :(
