Hello,
For the people that are having problems with this program there might be some help if you go to a very good forum, called After Dawn. The forum is geared to answer questions on copying, ripping and burning all kinds of media, they even have a catagory just for "DVD Ripping". The site has been very helpful to me, I have not trashed a disk in a long time, KOW. After Dawn is filled with knowledgeable people, all kinds of tutorials, software suggestions and downloads. The link is: http://www.afterdawn.com/ .
A Point of interest, A Moderator at After Dawn, gave GOTD's link to download Aimersoft DVD Ripper on May 23, I thought that was kind of cool, too bad that download was such a disaster.
Catch you on the flip side,
Barry

I get the same invalid IFO problem with MOST DVD I try this thing with :-(

Then I also got some other error messages; something like "not enough storage" while I output to a disk that has 16 GB free space, mor ethan enough for even a double layer DVD at full rip (i.e. NO conversion for a smaller format: PDA, phone, etc.)

When I press the Trim button, it attempts to open a dialog box but is stuck half way displaying it for so long (over 10 minutes) I had to kill the program.

This looks like a beta program to me... :-(

I haven't used it myself yet (too busy), but if you haven't already - look at the help content - available in the program.

That might be the fastest way to get started.

Hi.When I checked the GOTD site today, I was delighted to see today's giveaway was a DVD Ripper. So i downloaded the software, activated it and was very excited to use it. I put in a DVD Movie into the CD/DVD Drive of my computer, then I started the program and click Load DVD and selected the DVD movie. The response was"the invalid IFO file(s) has/have been ignored." Then I tried to press Settings,Start, trim, crop, effect but it all didnt work. Then I tried Load file and only loaded the main file of the movie(without any Warning signs).I tried the Settings, start,Trim,Crop and Effect but it all did not work.I would apprecate it if someone helped me.Thanks.
