Hi all,

It seems my emailing the games publisher to ask for permission to provide a register code has prompted them to post the full version instead of the demo!

Great game by the way!

When I downloaded a week or two ago, it definitely required a register code. I've left the code in the games post in case anyone has downloaded the game from elsewhere.

I've checked myself by redownloading it and installing on another computer and it definitely is the full version now, with no need to register! Very generous thanks to the publisher on this one! :)

Hi Roblou, from what I've read on the developers site the game would appear to be a demo yet when I install it, it gives me access to all 24 puzzle types (accessible from the tool bar (game) plus when I check the about section it says freeware, so it looks like the developer has converted the program to freeware and you don't need to register it any longer.

That said maybe the register button only appears when you get to the higher levels?

The best approach would be to copy the code provided by Chazzo and keep it safe until such time as it may request it.

I searched everywhere for a way to input the code and there definitely wasn't one including when starting the game for the first time.

I clicked on help, but do not see any place to register. It says I'm using the freeware version. Please help if you can. Thanks.

Cyclanoid (<1Mb)

Think Rubik's Cube in two dimensions! This is a puzzle game where you rotate groups of four tile shapes (or up to eight shapes for more difficult levels) using available puzzle pivot points to try to get all of the rows lined up with identical shapes. If this sounds easy, it isn’t simply because you often have to undo previous work at some point and there are no pivot points for the edge blocks.

Cyclanoid was pay-for but is now freeware and you now get all the 24 levels of the game. I've included a code later in the post in case anyone tries downloading it anywhere else than from the publisher's site, as there are quite a few popular sites that only have the demo to download.

Completed puzzle screen

The game starts off with a 4x6 board which is by no means easy in itself, and at the easy level you can choose a board up to 6x8 which of course complicates matters. You can then try zigzag rotations which limit how the shapes move when rotated. In higher difficulty levels, as well as different rotary motions, there are less and less available pivot points. There are four difficulty levels; easy, medium, hard and crazy (which are just short of being impossible!)

Each game is different as the puzzle pieces are set at random at the start of a new game. There’s a demo available for each type of game to get you started, and you move the shapes by left-clicking on the pivot points (between the tile corners). It keeps track of how many moves you make. Click on Game /New Game once you have selected a level to start playing.

Practice will make the easier levels seem much more straightforward once you begin to see the pattern of moves needed to complete a puzzle.

There’s a level editor built in, choose a name to type in other than those that come with the game and see the in-game help on how to proceed, though you can’t edit the levels that come built in to the game. Levels you create can be re-edited later if you wish.

You don't need a code for the full version using the download link below. Please note that we can only supply a code where we know that purchase of a full version is permanently discontinued and we have contacted the game’s publisher to ask for permission. You can unlock the higher difficulty levels of the game if you've previously downloaded the game, using the code by clicking on help/register and entering/pasting in the code QR35474756FV78686587 If the code doesn’t work, ensure you are not copying any spaces at the start or end of the code. You don't now need to do this if you use the download link given here.

Cyclanoid works in all versions of windows from Win 95 upwards, and plays windowed.

It’s a really excellent puzzle game, being an extension of block slider puzzles, and will give you a challenge even if you just play the easy/medium levels!
