			<description><p>Most activations only change settings for the current user - obviously a user can modify their own settings. Normally you do not need to be an administrator to activate software.</p>
<p>You should only install software on a PC that you own, many universities and libraries do not permit or want adhoc software installed on shared pcs - and may configure the pcs to be locked down to prevent unauthorized software being installed.

			<description><p>Hi all,<br />
I have downloaded this app &#60;put name here&#62; and after installing the program activates itself. </p>
<p>Here is the problem...<br />
I attempted to install it on a uni pc, which of course doesn't have admin access, but never the less after the critical erro stating that I can't install the app on the pc, the program activates itself. How is this possible? It obviously can't modify the registry can it? And if the app isn't installed there is no way any of the dll files can be changed in the host directory. How is this possible??
